Dirty Daves

Dave was excellent. He worked with us to come up with a travel plan. We went from Dunkeld to Oban, across to Mull and Iona and back to Edinburgh. We stopped at all the sites we wanted to see and Dave added on a few more that added to the experience.

Dave is a true professional (don't let him fool you). In every possible way: planning, communication, flexibility, demeanor, Dave was exactly the person I would want as our Scotland guide. Perhaps one of Dave's most underrated (unheralded?) qualities was his driving skill - safe and in total control on every scenario on some dicey Highlands back roads. On top of all the important traits, his personality was a perfect fit for our crew of five and I suspect he would be well liked in any crowd. Thanks for a great five-day tour Dave!

Dave was wonderful. He told great stories of history making it fun and very entertaining. We enjoyed the tour.

Dave is hands down a riot! You'll get plenty of that famous Scottish humor! But also a consummate professional anticipating his customers needs (like bathrooms without waiting for 30 others on big group tours) and makes for a tour where you can turn your brain off and enjoy yourself stress free!!

This tour was excellent! Dave knows the history, but throws in some jokes and humor to keep things interesting. We actually started with Dave in a different city, but he was so wonderful, we actually ended up having him take us to Glasgow to extend the tour.

My sister and I planned this trip thinking Scotland would be "one and done" and we would move on to another world travel adventure. We came to find out that half of an adventure depends on the guide you choose. Dirty Dave, with his excellent story telling, his sense of humor and his love for the country makes us determined to have a repeat adventure in Scotland......only if Dirty Dave is our fearless leader again!
