This is one of the most important parts of how Dirty Daves works.
We specialise in bespoke tours of Scotland — private, multi-day trips designed around your group, not a fixed coach package. We don't sell off-the-shelf tours where you pick a date and hope it suits you. Almost every trip is built from scratch based on what you actually want.
When you get in touch, we start a conversation. You tell us what's important — specific places, a certain pace, whisky, castles, scenery, history, islands, or simply "not too much rushing about." We then shape an itinerary that makes sense for your group and your dates.
That might mean a Highlands and Skye loop, an Outer Hebrides island tour, a longer run that mixes both, or something completely different. You choose the starting point (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, or elsewhere) and we build around it.
How a Custom Tour Works
You tell us your dates, group size, and rough ideas (or just say "we want the best of the Highlands and Skye").
We come back with a suggested route and overnight plan.
We refine it together until it feels right.
You book it.
There's no fixed itinerary you have to fit into. The sample tours on this site are only starting points. Most people end up with something that's a mix of those routes plus their own requests.

Price & How It Works
All tours are priced per group (maximum 8 people). The more people you bring, the better the value per person.
Typical range: £1000–£1200 per day.
Final price depends on group size, exact route, and time of year (summer is usually at the higher end).
