Short on time but still want to see the real Highlands? This 3 day private tour is built for exactly that.

Starting from Edinburgh or Glasgow, you get three full days on the road with just you (or your group) and Dave. No big coaches, no fixed schedule, and no being herded around with strangers. We keep the pace sensible and the stops interesting.

In three days you'll hit the highlights most people come to Scotland for — Loch Ness, Glencoe, Glenfinnan, standing stones and a few quieter spots in between. It's long enough to feel like a proper escape, but short enough that it works if you only have a long weekend.

The route below is a solid starting point. If you want more time at Loch Ness, a whisky stop, or a different overnight, we just adjust it.

Sample 3-Day Route

• Day 1: Pick-up in Edinburgh or Glasgow → Queensferry Crossing → Pitlochry → Clava Cairns → Culloden → overnight in Inverness (or right on Loch Ness if you'd rather).
• Day 2: Loch Ness → Glenfinnan Viaduct → Fort William → Glencoe → Castle Stalker → overnight in Oban.
• Day 3: Oban → St Conan's Kirk → Kilchurn Castle → hairy coos at Kilmahog → Callander → Doune Castle → drop-off back in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

This isn't a rigid package. You can:

• Start and finish in either Edinburgh or Glasgow
• Add or drop stops
• Swap overnight locations
• Stretch it into a 4 or 5 day trip if you get the bug
